Buy It Like You Mean It is a non-profit volunteer community of people sharing information about the socially responsible aspects of their purchases. Choices for sustainable and ethical living are at the heart of our educational mission. We depend on users for entering in their opinions about what company practices are positive or negative. We began in the summer of two thousand and eight by focused on researching the chocolate industry. We will move on to other topics every season or so.
All of our data is free and open and is available on our website and through text message queries. The idea is to give users customized access to socially responsible information about the products that they're considering purchasing. The information should be available at any point of sale.
