Description

Opening up Local Government Data. From home page (as of 2009-09):

opened up data for over 40 local authorities, and more are being added every week, with more information being opened up too.

We currently have information on:

  • 76 councils
  • 4563 councillors
  • 2748 committees
  • 16202 committee meetings

Most of the data is accessible as XML, json or RDF data through a rough and ready API (basically add .xml, .json or .rdf to the main part of the URL)

Openness

  • Open. CC-BY-SA and ODbL. See license info page.
  • No bulk download though API access to most of the underlying data.
