ESIS (European chemical Substances Information System)
Annex I of Directive 67/548/EEC is deleted by the entering into force of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP) on 20 January 2009. Annex I is replaced by Table 3.2 in Annex VI to CLP.
As Table 3.2 is a transfer from Annex I these entries can be found in the ClassLab database, but note that Table 3.2 and Annex I are not totally identical due to some corrigendum issues. In addition Annex I is updated with ATP 30 and 31, and these two last ATPs to Directive 67/548/EEC will be included in Table 3.2 and become legally binding only through ATP 1 to CLP. It is always the version of Table 3.2 in the Official Journal that is legally binding.
The working database includes classifications and labellings of substances or groups of substances according to the criteria in Directive 67/548/EEC for one or more endpoints, as agreed in the TC C&L.
