LastRound AI Hiring Data

Two open datasets built from the public job board APIs of Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. No private data, nothing behind a login, and no personal data of any kind. Both are CC BY 4.0.

Everything here is independently reproducible. Take a vendor and a slug from the directory and call that vendor's public API yourself. That is the point of publishing it.

The datasets

Job Posting Pay Transparency

Aggregate counts derived from 101,432 open postings across 2,704 companies, collected 1 August 2026. Individual postings are not redistributed, only aggregates.

The finding that prompted it: Greenhouse's public API exposes no salary field at all, so 0 of 49,722 postings carry structured pay. Lever's API does, and 15,060 of 51,710 use it. Yet Greenhouse employers state pay in the description text slightly more often than Lever employers do, 37.4% against 30.3%. The disclosure exists. The structured field to hold it does not.

ATS Company Directory

9,935 companies mapped to the applicant tracking system they use and the public job-board slug that serves their postings. Crawled 11 July to 1 August 2026.

No public dataset maps companies to their ATS vendor and board slug, yet it is the lookup you need before you can study hiring data across companies at all.

Limitations

Both datasets state their limitations in full in their own pages, and they are worth reading before you use either. In short: the pay-text pattern is tuned for dollar amounts and English phrasing, so treat every disclosure figure as a lower bound. Boards disappear, so a slug that resolved at crawl time can 404 later. Workday, SmartRecruiters and Taleo are absent from both, because they do not expose comparable open job board APIs.
