Thoughts re product
- Product lead be Anu (or someone other than Rufus) with support from Rufus
- Flowershow should fold into general product development e.g. DataHub pages or DataHub Enterprise
- Flowershow is not revenue generating right now and will take a while to do so
- Other products at Datopian are either revenue generating (indirectly) or closer to being so (e.g. we have customer leads for DataHub Enterprise)
- Our core competency is around data
- Flowershow is currently too distinct as an offering
- Flowershow provides a sound basis for NextJS fronteds
- Flowershow content can folder
- Flowershow could remain as an opensource offering (??)
- ? is this a distraction though
- We should identify a potential B2C data offering out of what we have
- We have potential B2C offerings
- DataHub.io as pure simple SaaS
- DataHub pages (if distinct)
- B2C have a simpler sales cycle
- We have immediate feedback allowing us to learn about product
