About this dataset
Postal Codes Dataset for Ukraine (UA)
This dataset contains Ukrainian postal codes – 29,571 rows, 26/27 oblasts and cities-with-special-status (Sevastopol has no rows in the source), and 130/136 raions. GeoNames' postal export is joined to GeoNames' own gazetteer dump for raion coverage, replacing a prior release that shipped every raion field as a duplicate of the oblast name.

Data Sources
Postal codes and raion data are sourced from GeoNames, licensed CC BY 4.0 – commercial use and resale permitted on attribution alone, no share-alike.
Licensing status. Cleared to sell – licence_status.decision: compatible. See ATTRIBUTION.txt for the full attribution notice, including the raion-join method and an occupied-territory disclosure (Crimea and Sevastopol City are included as Ukrainian territory per ISO 3166 and Ukrainian law; rows there and in occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson reflect GeoNames' data, not confirmation of current operating postal service).
Coverage note. No official bulk postal-code source exists for Ukraine – Ukrposhta's own site offers only a single-address lookup tool, not a downloadable list.
Usage
The dataset files are available in CSV format and can be accessed and downloaded using the links provided in the datapackage.yml.
